A bit about me…

I graduated from University of Lincoln (BA English) in 2010 and felt lost. I had no real direction or career plans other than I knew that I wanted to write. Since graduating I have had a number of jobs that didn’t really suit me, and my fiance kept saying to me ‘Why don’t you try writing?’, but I kept putting it off. I felt like if I didn’t try then I couldn’t fail.

But, now I realise that if I don’t try, then I haven’t tried, and have wasted an opportunity! So now, finally, I am setting out to start my career as a writer. This blog will follow the Ups and Downs (and rejection is part of the process) of my writing career.
